Our approach

As a leading global producer of lithium materials, we ensure our products are produced and delivered responsibly.

We prioritise working with partners who share our commitment to ethical, safe and sustainable practices.

Our Responsible Production and Sourcing Policy outlines our commitment to the ethical and conflict-free production of minerals and the responsible sourcing of goods and services across our supply chain. It reflects our alignment with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from conflict-affected and high-risk areas and guides how we identify, assess and manage human rights, environmental, anti-corruption and other risks throughout our value chain.

At each stage of our value chain, from mining to processing, we aim to operate transparently, manage risks to people and the environment, and create shared value for the communities in which we operate.

Supplier engagement in the lithium supply chain

We work with a broad range of suppliers across our operations.

We expect our suppliers to uphold standards of conduct consistent with our own, as set out in our Supplier Code of Conduct. We have clear expectations around labour practices, human rights and anti-bribery and corruption.

Our supplier management approach includes pre-qualification and risk-based due diligence processes.

We partner with First Nations-owned businesses, in particular the Nyamal and Kariyarra Peoples, on whose land our Pilgangoora Operation is located, to create long-term economic and social benefits.
