The Lynas Find Project involves the development of a small open pit mine, waste rock landform and supporting infrastructure located approximately 80km south, south east of Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
The proposed action has been determined to be a controlled action under the EPBC Act and is being assessed through Preliminary Documentation. The relevant controlling provisions under Part 3 of the Act are sections 18 and 18A (listed threatened species and communities).
In accordance with Section 95A(3) of the EPBC Act, PLS made the draft preliminary documentation related to the proposed action available for viewing and public comment from Wednesday 14 August 2024 to the 11 September 2024. No written public submissions were received during this time.
